The Sony HVL‑F60RM II Flash is a powerful and versatile on-camera flash with advanced TTL and high-speed sync features, ideal for professional photography and video shooting. Thanks to the Sony Multi Interface Shoe, the flash communicates intelligently with the camera body for fast and reliable performance in a variety of lighting conditions. With radio control, it is possible to wirelessly operate other compatible flashes and coordinate flash groups without optical limitations.
The flash head has a guide number of 60 (ISO 100, 200 mm) and supports a flash coverage of 20–200 mm, with a built-in wide-angle diffuser. The head can tilt up to 150° vertically and rotate 180° horizontally, providing flexible bounce-lighting options. The flash offers TTL, manual, and multi modes, with a recycle time of approximately 1.7 seconds.
The advanced flash control ensures consistent exposure, while features like flash compensation and bounce flash give extra control over lighting. The flash also supports high-speed sync (HSS) and maintains a color temperature around 5500 K for natural-looking flash light.
Physically, the HVL‑F60RM II is compact, measuring approximately 78 × 143 × 105 mm and weighing about 439 g (excluding batteries). Powered by 4 × AA batteries (alkaline or NiMH), the flash can deliver up to approximately 160 full-power flashes. There is also a 3.5 mm off-camera port for additional triggering.
